Friends Pass for 21st Boston Jewish Film Festival
Available for $225 after August 1, 2009. Represents significant savings over single-ticket purchases. Provides admission to all programs, including Opening and Closing Nights and Special Event (required RSVP to guarantee admission at these shows only), and assured seating provided passholders check in at the venue box office at least 20 minutes prior to screening time. Also includes the following special benefits:

  • Discounted tickets to our 2009 Encores series at the Museum of Fine Arts
  • Invitations to select Festival parties and events (additional charges may apply)
  • Exclusive member-only mailings and invitations 
Festival will run from November 4 through November 15, 2009 in Metro-Boston venues, with additional suburban screenings October 27 & 29 (Framingham), as well as November 17, 18 & 19th (Danvers and Arlington)

ReelPass

$30. Specially designed for audiences in their 20s and 30s, a flexible 3-film pass with film recommendations, invitations to Festival events and parties*, and option to use one film ticket for our Spring Encore series. Opening (11/4), Midfest (11/11), Closing Night (11/15) and other specially-priced events excluded, but ReelPass holders are entitled to the discount price on these shows.

Weekday Pass

It's not all happening on Saturday night! Don't miss the films we have screening during the week. $40 gets you into any 5 regularly-priced films screening anytime Monday-Thursday (Opening Night 11/4 and Mid-Fest Event 11/11 excluded).

Purchase by phone with a credit card (Master Card, Visa, American Express) prior to October 16 by calling 617-244-9899.  Purchase online beginning October 6, 2009 by visiting www.bjff.org. Last day to purchase is Friday, October 16th.

Purchasing Tickets

You can still order your Friends Pass, Reel Pass or Weekday Pass until October 23, 2009 by ordering through info@bjff.org, subject line "pass purchase."

To purchase Festival screening and event tickets online with a credit card, go to http://bjff.bside.com/2009 to review the films and schedule. Select the screenings you wish to attend and click on "Buy Tix" link next to selected screenings. This link brings you to our online ticketing service by Agile Tickets. $1.50 processing fee per ticket. MasterCard, VISA, and American Express only. 

You may build a personal schedule using the B-Side Festival tools. Registration is not required to browse the site, track audience buzz, and learn about the festival. If you choose to register, you can create a personal festival calendar, rate and review films, and receive updates about upcoming screenings.

To purchase by phone with a credit card: Call our ticketing agency when you have your ticket order ready for purchase, at 866-702-8877, between 7am and 12 midnight EST by MasterCard, VISA, and American Express. $3.50 processing fee per ticket. Please note that our ticketing agency is only able to process orders, not to answer general questions about the Festival, screening times, films, etc. For those questions please call the Festival office at 617-244-9899.  

Tickets ordered by phone or online from the Festival's ticketing agencies can be mailed upon request up to 10 days prior to a screening. An extra service charge may apply. For MFA, ICA and CCT screenings, "will call" tickets can be picked up at the host venue's ticketing locations. All other "will call" tickets will be available for pick-up at The Festival's table one hour prior to screening.

For CCT programs only

Purchase tickets in person at the Coolidge Corner Theatre box office, weekdays 3pm – 10pm, weekends 12noon – 10pm. Box office hours subject to change.

For MFA programs only

Purchase tickets in person at the MFA Huntington and Fenway admission desks. MFA members may gain entry to go directly to the Remis Auditorium box office to purchase or pick up "will call" tickets. Purchase by credit card (VISA, MC and AMEX) by calling 617-369-3306. MFA Film Scrip not valid for Festival programs. $1.50 per ticket processing fee for phone orders, plus $4.50 fee to mail. Ticketing hours are Mon., Tues., Sat., Sun. 10am - 4:15pm; Wed., Thurs., Fri. 10am – 9:15pm. 

For ICA programs only

Purchase tickets in person at the ICA Boston box office. Purchase by credit card by calling 617-478-3103. Credit cards accepted are: VISA, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. $3 per ticket processing fee for phone orders, plus additional fee to mail. Box office hours are Tues., Wed. 10am – 5pm; Thurs., Fri 10am – 9pm; Sat., Sun. 10am – 5pm. Special The 11/8/09 ICA Brunch and Film package ($25 with 1PM screening of Harlan: In the Shadow of the Jew Suss) is available for purchase until 11/5/09 online from www.bjff.org ticketing services; the ICA is unable to sell the brunch tickets at their box office.

For AMC, ACT, HH, KSC, SC & WNC

Pending availability, purchase tickets in person at the venue beginning one hour before show time. Advance purchase online at www.bjff.org recommended, as these shows do sell out.

General Information
Seating
Seating is not assigned. Seats are limited; advance purchase recommended.

Stand-By Line for Sold Out Shows
We sell a certain number of seats for each show in advance. We also hold back a number of seats to be used by Passholders. Often all Passholders do not attend, and we are able to release some seats for sale to the "Stand-By" line. This line forms no earlier than 1 hour before showtime, and tickets are released for sale 20 minutes before showtime.

Refunds
Available only for canceled or rescheduled programs. Due to circumstances beyond our control, certain films may be rescheduled or canceled without prior notice.
